As i write this on Sunday February 13 2022 the Freedom convoy has occupied downtown Ottawa for 17 days! There is no end in sight. The provincial government called a province wide state of emergency to give the police services extra powers. The media tells conflicting stories. Those eho support the convoy say they are peaceful people who will stay until they are listened to and the mandates lifted.
I have attended protests and demonstrations in Ottawa. The events were organized with the support of Members of Parliament so speeches were made by MPs. Our group walked a predetermined route with police protection. The entire event took a few hours. Then we went home.
Please explain to me why the Freedom convoy is still partying on Parliament Hill?
